Braving the Blizzard: Kraft Mechanical Connects at the IFMA Winter Social

When the snow started flying, facility pros still showed up—and so did Kraft Mechanical.

Last night, while most of Minnesota was watching the weather and reconsidering their plans, facility professionals from across the Twin Cities layered up, grabbed their keys, and headed out into the storm for the IFMA Winter Social.

Kraft Mechanical was proud to be there, braving near-whiteout conditions and gusty winds to connect with our partners in the facility management community. A strong winter system was pushing heavy snow and high winds across Minnesota, creating challenging travel and blizzard-like conditions—exactly the kind of weather that puts building systems and facilities teams to the test.

Inside, though, the mood was warm and energetic. The Winter Social, hosted by the IFMA Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter, brought together facility managers, service providers, and industry partners for an evening of networking, conversation, and a little well-deserved fun. The MSP Chapter’s special events are designed specifically to help vendors and facility managers build relationships in a relaxed setting, and this one delivered—even with the snow piling up outside.

Showing Up When It Matters

For Kraft Mechanical, being there wasn’t just about swapping business cards. It was about showing our clients—and future clients—that we’re committed to supporting them in real-world conditions, not just when the forecast looks friendly.

Between sips of something warm, our team talked with facility leaders about:
