Kraft Mechanical Attends the 2026 MASMS Campus Facilities Tour at Saint Ben’s & Saint John’s University

The Kraft Mechanical team was proud to have Jason Wick, Service Manager for our St. Cloud division, attend the 2026 MASMS Campus Tour hosted by Saint John’s University and the College of Saint Benedict on May 5, 2026.

The event brought together educational facility professionals and industry partners from across Minnesota for a behind-the-scenes look at campus operations, maintenance practices, and facility management strategies at two of the state’s most respected institutions.

Hosted by the Minnesota Association of School Maintenance Supervisors (MASMS), the tour provided attendees with the opportunity to explore campus facilities, power plants, grounds operations, and maintenance systems across both Saint Ben’s and Saint John’s campuses. Participants also had the chance to network with peers, exchange ideas, and discuss the challenges and innovations shaping facility management today.

The day began at the Gorecki Center on the College of Saint Benedict campus before attendees split into groups to tour both campuses. Throughout the day, attendees explored operational systems and learned how the universities maintain and support their expansive campuses, which together span thousands of acres in central Minnesota. Saint John’s University is known for its beautiful wooded campus and extensive natural landscape, while the College of Saint Benedict offers a vibrant campus environment in nearby St. Joseph.

Events like the MASMS Tour are valuable opportunities for collaboration, professional development, and sharing best practices across the facilities and maintenance industry.
